Removal, installation, check and adjustment of components of system of fast idling
|
The following procedure is applicable only to models with engine F8Q. On engines F9Q fast idling is supervised by the electronic module of system of injection and any additional adjustments it is not required. |
VACUUM DRIVE AND ROPE
|
1. The vacuum drive is fixed on an arm established on the end of the fuel pump.
2. Loosen the the screw or a nut also remove a tip from a rope on the lever of fast idling on the fuel pump.
3. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a drive.

5. Turn away a nut, крепящую a drive to an arm, and get a drive, passing a rope through an arm (address to illustrations). |

1. Establish a drive on an arm and tighten a fixing nut.
2. Connect a vacuum hose.
3. Insert a rope through the lever of fast idling and place a tip on a rope, but do not clamp while the screw or a nut.
4. Adjust a rope as it is described in following paragraphs. |

|
1. Operate as it is described in Section 9 and being guided by the note in the beginning, the distance between edge the lever of fast idling and a tip should be 2 ± 1 mm.
2. If malfunction of a vacuum drive is suspected, at first check up the electromagnetic block as it is described later in this Section.
3. The drive can be checked up by means of the vacuum pump. (The engine should be muffled), disconnect a vacuum hose from a drive and attach to it the vacuum pump. At pressure 500 мБар the drive should move a rope so that the lever has concerned the screw of adjustment of fast idling. If it not so, the vacuum drive is possibly faulty. |

1. Turns of fast idling it is established at factory on the test bed and cannot be adjusted.
2. On the idle engine and with the lever of fast idling in a starting position, accurately enter a rope of fast idling.
3. Place a tip on a rope so that the distance between edge of the lever of fast idling and a tip was equal 2 ± 1 mm.
4. Correctly having placed a tip, tighten a nut.
5. The drive can be checked up, being guided by paragraphs in Section Removal, installation, check and adjustment of a thermodrive and a rope of fast idling, but pay attention that the lever of fast idling should concern the terminator, instead of the screw of adjustment of fast idling. |

THE ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE
|
1. On engines F8Q 620, the electromagnetic valve is on a partition in an impellent compartment, near to the block of management of preheat. On engines F8Q with turbocharger, it is in an impellent compartment on the top forward rack.
2. Disconnect conducting and disconnect vacuum hoses from the electromagnetic valve.
3. Loosen the two screws of fastening also get the valve. |

1. Make installation in return sequence. Watch that vacuum hoses and electroconducting have been reliably connected. Tighten screws. |
|
|
1. Remove the electromagnetic valve as it is described above.
2. Try to blow air through one of connections of a vacuum hose. Air through the valve should not pass.
3. Connect a food (12В) to plugs of a winding of the valve and again try to blow through the valve air. Now air should pass.
4. If the valve does not work as is described, it is necessary to replace it. |
