Removal, installation and adjustment of a rope of gas

Following procedures are applicable only to models with engine F8Q. On models with engine F9Q, position of a pedal of gas is defined by the gauge which sends a corresponding signal to a control system - the rope of a pedal of gas on these models is not used.

REMOVAL

1. Working in an impellent compartment, press the gas lever on the fuel pump and disconnect from it a rope. On models with запрессованным a tip, deduce the end of a rope from the lever (address to an accompanying illustration). 2a. Remove a tip. 2b. Deduce ободок a casing of a rope from a sealing ring in an arm of the fuel pump. 2c. Pay attention that on models with a spherical tip it is necessary to wring out a sphere from a rubber tip of a rope that it was possible to pass a rope through a pump arm (address to illustrations). 3. Working in salon, remove the bottom panel of furnish from under a steering column. Disconnect a rope from a gas pedal, compressing tip ledges. 4. Return to an impellent compartment, release a rope casing in a partition and take a rope.

INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT

1. Make installation in return sequence, watching that the rope has been laid how it is noted before removal, and in summary check up adjustment of length of a rope as follows. 2. Ask the assistant to press against the stop a gas pedal, then be convinced that the gas lever on the fuel pump concerns the screw of adjustment maximum engine turns. If adjustment is necessary, remove spring скобу with ободка adjustments, move ободок to the necessary party, and then insert скобу into the following free flute on ободке. 3. Ask the assistant to release completely a pedal of gas and check up, that the gas lever concerned the screw of adjustment of turns of delay.
