Check and adjustment of the maximum turns of the engine

The following procedure is applicable only to models with engine F8Q 620 (fuel pump Bosch). On engines F8Q equipped with fuel pump Lucas, adjustment can be executed only on the test bed. On engines F9Q maximum engine turns it is supervised by the electronic module of system of injection. |

|
|
1. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
2. Ask the assistant to press against the stop a pedal of gas and be convinced that maximum engine turns corresponds to the data resulted in Specifications. Do not suppose that the engine worked on the maximum turns of more than two-three seconds.
|
|
3. If adjustment is necessary, switch off the engine, ослабьте a counternut and rotate the screw of adjustment of the maximum turns. In summary tighten a counternut (address to an accompanying illustration). |
4. Repeat procedure from paragraph 2 to check up adjustment.
5. Switch off the engine and disconnect a tachometre. |
