The following procedure is applicable only to models with engine F8Q. On engines F9Q, the fuel stopping delivery copes the electronic module of system of injection. |
|
|
|
1. The valve отсечки fuel is on the end of the fuel pump of a high pressure. It is intended for a fuel stopping delivery at the switched off ignition. If there is a breakage of a winding of the valve or feed circuit conducting the engine cannot be started. The same will be and at jamming плунжера the valve in the closed position. If плунжер will get stuck in open position, the engine cannot be muffled, having switched off ignition.
2. If the winding of the valve and the engine is damaged cannot work, it is possible to make temporary repair, having removed the valve as is described in following paragraphs. Establish the case of the valve without плунжера and springs. Isolate a wire so that it could not concern weights. Now the engine can be started in the usual image, but for its stop it is necessary to use the lever on the fuel pump (or to muffle the engine transfer inclusion). |

WITHOUT THE CODED ELECTRONIC BLOCK

Do not suppose dirt hit in the fuel pump. At installation use a new sealing washer or a sealing ring. |
|
|
|
1. Disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (address to the Head the Electric equipment of the engine for models Scenic).

If the autoradio tape recorder in your car is coded before to disconnect the battery, be convinced that you know a code. |
2. Remove a rubber cover (where it is applied), then turn away a nut of the plug and disconnect a wire from the top part of the electromagnetic valve.
3. Accurately clear area round the valve, then turn on and get it and clean a sealing washer or a sealing ring. Take плунжер and a spring if they remained in the pump. Compress a pear of manual refuelling (where it is applied - address to Section Pouring and prorolling of fuel system) to wash off a dirt. |

1. Make installation in return sequence, use a new sealing washer or a sealing ring. Tighten the electromagnetic valve the effort resulted in Specifications. |

WITH THE CODED ELECTRONIC BLOCK
|
|
For drilling of screws of fastening of the block to the fuel pump the special complete set is used. At installation use new screws. |
|
|
|
1. The coded electromagnetic valve is fixed on a left-hand side of the fuel pump.
2. Disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (address to the Head the Electric equipment of the engine for models Scenic).

|

3. On models with fuel pump Bosch, disconnect a rope of gas from the lever on the pump. Remove a ventilation oil separator картера from the left forward part of the engine to get access to fixing bolts of the electromagnetic valve.
4. Now it is necessary to drill heads of fixing bolts. If there is complete set Renault, arrange a pipe on one of bolts and drill in it an aperture depth of 4.0 mm, using a drill in diameter of 4.0 mm (slightly oil a drill to facilitate drilling). Remove a fixing bolt. Repeat procedure with remained bolts.
5. Disconnect conducting from the valve. Remove a plastic cover and turn away the valve.
6. On the models equipped with fuel pump Lucas, for replacement of the electromagnetic valve the fuel pump is necessary for removing from the engine.
7. Having removed the pump, remove from the valve protective inserts.
8. Protective inserts are fixed by bolts. Now it is necessary to drill heads of these bolts that was possible to remove them as it is described above.
9. Disconnect conducting. Uncover and turn away the valve. |

1. On the models equipped with fuel pump Bosch, tighten a fixing nut of the valve and establish a plastic cover. Tighten new fixing bolts, their heads will not break yet.
2. On the models equipped with fuel pump Lucas, tighten the valve the effort resulted in Specifications. Establish a cover on the valve, watching that electroconducting has been correctly laid. Establish protective inserts, using new bolts. Track, that have been correctly established распорные linings (where are available). Tighten bolts, then curtail heads from bolts. Establish the fuel pump on the engine. |
