Check, removal and installation of atomizers

Work with fuel atomizers extremely cautiously. Never substitute hands or any other parts of a body under an atomizer stream as thanks to high working pressure the fuel stream can get through a skin that will lead to fatal consequences. Performance of all works connected with check of serviceability of atomizers under pressure insistently is recommended, to charge to the expert in systems of injection of fuel or HUNDRED.

CHECK

1. Atomizers wear out at long operation and it is reasonable to expect that they will require under repair or replacement after 100 000 km of run. It is necessary to charge exact check of serviceability, a partition and calibration of atomizers to the expert. A defective atomizer which can cause a detonation or дымления, it is possible to define without dismantling as follows. 2. Start the engine, establish a mode of fast idling. Serially gradually ослабьте connecting муфту on each atomizer. When it will be weakened connecting муфта on a defective atomizer, the detonation or pressure should stop.

REMOVAL

Work very cautiously, do not suppose dirt hit in atomizers or топливопроводы. 1. Accurately clear area round atomizers and connecting nuts of tubes of atomizers. 2. On engines F8Q, disconnect taking away tubes from atomizers (see an illustration). 3. Turn away connecting nuts, fastening tubes of atomizers to the fuel pump of a high pressure. Close open connecting муфты not to admit dirt penetration. 4. Turn away a nut and disconnect tubes from atomizers (address to an accompanying illustration). If it is necessary, tubes can be removed completely. Notice a site скоб, attached to tubes. Close the ends of atomizers to prevent dirt penetration. 5a. A fuel atomizer in a cut - engines F8Q: 1 — the Fuel atomizer 2 — the Copper washer 3 — the Plug 4 — the Sealing fire-resistant washer 5 — the Candle накаливания 5b. On engines F8Q, turn away an atomizer by means of a deep nest or накидного a key (27 mm). 5c. Remove them from a head of the block of cylinders. 5d. On engines F8Q with turbocharger, in the holder of an atomizer №1 the gauge of lifting of a needle of an atomizer is built in, therefore for atomizer removal the special tool is required. If it is not present, in a deep nest it is necessary to make a cut for gauge conducting (address to an accompanying illustration). 6. On engines F9Q, turn away bolts, fastening tightening laths of atomizers to a head of the block of cylinders. Remove laths and atomizers, then clean consolidation linings between atomizers and a head of the block of cylinders. 7a. On engines F8Q, clean copper washers. 7b. Clean fire-resistant washers from a head of the block of cylinders. Also clean plugs if they are free (address to illustrations).

INSTALLATION

1. On engines F8Q, get new copper and fire-resistant washers. Also replace plugs if they are damaged. 2. Try not to drop an atomizer. Also do not clamp them in верстачных a vice. 3. On engines F8Q, begin installation, inserting plugs (if are removed) into a head of the block of cylinders. Establish new fire-resistant washers in a head of the block of cylinders. Pay attention that these washers should be established by the convex party downwards (to a head of the block of cylinders) (sm an illustration). 4. Establish new copper washers in a head of the block of cylinders. 5. Insert atomizers and tighten their effort resulted in Specifications. On engines F8Q with turbocharger, use the special tool (address to paragraph 7 above) to clamp an atomizer №1 with the gauge of lifting of a needle. 6. On engines F9Q, establish new sealing linings between atomizers and a head of the block of cylinders. Insert atomizers, then establish tightening laths. Tighten laths the effort resulted in Specifications. 7. Establish tubes of atomizers and reliably tighten connecting nuts. Place скобы on tubes how it has been noted before removal. 8. Connect taking away tubes (engines F8Q). 9. Start the engine. If to make it it is not possible, pump over fuel system, address to Section Pouring and prorolling of fuel system.
