1. Disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (address to the Head the Electric equipment of the engine for models Scenic).

If the radio tape recorder in your car is coded before to disconnect the battery, be convinced that you know a code. |
2. Remove a radiator as it is described in the Head System of cooling, heating. Also disconnect the top hose from a casing of the thermostat and the bottom hose - from a pipe of a cooling liquid.
3. Merge oil from a manual transmission as it is described in the Head Transmission.
4. If it is necessary, merge impellent oil as Maintenance service is described in the Head.
5. Remove a cowl (address to the Head the Body).
6. Remove assemblage of the air filter and an air line as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system and release. On models with turbocharger, remove an air line connecting интеркулер with turbocharger and the inlet pipeline. Disconnect hoses of system of cooling from турбокомпрессора.
7. Cock a manual brake, then поддомкратьте a forward part of the car and establish it on axial props. Remove both lobbies of a wheel. Where is available, remove the bottom guard of the engine.
8. Remove loose leaves of arches of forward wheels.

10. On models with air conditioner, remove the compressor as it is described in Chapter 3, but leave hoses connected and displace it aside.
11. Remove the oil filter as Maintenance service is described in the Head.
12. Remove the pump and the tank of a steering with the amplifier from the engine as it is described in the Head the Suspension bracket and a steering, but do not disconnect a tube. Displace the pump aside.
13. Note an arrangement, then separate hoses of a heater from a thermostat casing on a left-hand side of a head of the block of cylinders.
14. Disconnect a hose of the block of the vacuum amplifier of a brake from the inlet pipeline on a left-hand side of a head of the block of cylinders.
15. Disconnect tubes and electroconducting from electromagnetic valves recycling the fulfilled gases and fast idling. On engines F9Q, disconnect a plait of wires of the fuel pump from the block of management of injection and from all gauges on the engine.
16. On engines F8Q, remove the block of management of preheat, and adhere it to the engine (address to the Head an engine Electric equipment).
17. Disconnect a rope of a pedal of gas (where is available) and a rope of coupling from the engine as Coupling is described in the Head of the Power supply system and release and the Head.
18. On models without турбокомпрессора, disconnect electroconducting from the gauge of the high-rise proof-reader.
19. Remove the top and lateral covers from the relay block on a left-hand side of an impellent compartment; release a payment of the relay and a coupler of conducting and place electroconducting on the engine.
20. Compress a socket and disconnect submitting топливопровод from the fuel filter.
21. Separate connecting муфту return of fuel from the fuel pump.
22. Turn away a cable of weight from a partition.
23. Where it is applied, turn away strengthening core between domes of a rack of a forward suspension bracket.
24. Remove the accumulator as the engine Electric equipment is described in the Head. On models Scenic, turn away the block of additional safety locks in an impellent compartment and displace it aside.
25. Disconnect a power cable of a food of a starter and a cable of preheat from an electroconducting socket on the right party of a storage compartment.
26. Turn away a nut from a tip of the left steering draught and by means of a stripper of spherical hinges disconnect it from the lever of a rotary fist.
27. Turn away bolts, fastening an internal rubber cover of the left power shaft and a metal ring to transmission.
28. Turn away two fixing bolts, fastening the left brake support to a rotary fist and disconnect electroconducting of the gauge of deterioration Pads. Adhere a support to a spring.
29. Turn on and remove a coupling bolt, крепящий шаровый the hinge of the left bottom lever to a rotary fist.
30. Turn on and remove both bolts, fastening the left rack of a suspension bracket to a rotary fist (pay attention that nuts are on a back part of a casing).
31. Lower the bottom lever of a suspension bracket downwards, then separate a power shaft from drive wheels of differential and remove it together with a rotary fist.
32. Be convinced that components триподного the hinge remained on a place on the internal end of a power shaft, differently they can drop out in transmission. Some loss of oil from a transmission can be observed, therefore place the small container under a box.
33. Working under the car, beat out a cylindrical pin, крепящий the right power shaft to a shaft drive differential wheels.
34. Turn away a nut from the right tip of cross-section steering draught and disconnect it from the lever of a rotary fist.
35. Turn on and remove the top bolt, крепящий the right rack of a suspension bracket to a rotary fist (pay attention that the nut is on a back part). Then ослабьте (but do not remove) the bottom bolt.
36. Pull a power shaft on itself and disconnect its internal end from grooves on a shaft drive differential wheels. Tie up a power shaft to the steering mechanism.
37. Remove a reception pipe as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system and release.
38. Turn away screws and remove a plastic cover from the transmission basis, then note a coupling bolt and divide a rod.
39. Where are available, separate hydraulic tubes of a steering with the amplifier from transmission.
40. Put forward spring скобу and remove the gauge of speed of the car from a back part of transmission.
41. Disconnect conducting from the switch of lanterns of a backing on transmission.
42. Disconnect cooler pipes трансмиссионной liquids under the oil filter.
43. Attach лебедку to assembly eyes and slightly raise the engine.
44. Turn on (but do not remove) a nut of a back bolt of communication of a back support of the engine/transmission, then turn on and remove a forward bolt of communication. Remember correct orientation of the shock-absorber, then turn away it from the top part of a back support. Also turn away an arm of a back support from transmission.
45. Remove a plastic cover of the right support of the engine. Turn away a nut, fastening the right support / a rubber pillow to the engine and a body. Remove rubber from a support.
46. Turn away a nut, fastening the left support of the engine / a rubber pillow to transmission and a body, and also - a nut of a strengthening arm. Remove rubber from a support.
47. Establish the steering mechanism in position "directly", then turn on and remove эксцентриковый a bolt, крепящий the basis of a steering column to the steering mechanism and separate a steering column from the steering mechanism.

On models with a pillow of safety of the driver, it is important not to damage the circular switch of a pillow of safety below a steering wheel. Before removal of a steering column the steering wheel is necessary for blocking by means of the special tool. |
48. Turn away four bolts of fastening in stretcher corners so that it has fallen from the bottom on 10 mm.
49. Loosen the bolts, fastening two strengthening arms to the bottom.
50. Turn on as far as possible fixing bolts of the steering mechanism. Two strengthening arms are necessary for leaving in working position.
51. Turn on holders, fastening a tube of hydrosystem of a steering with the amplifier to a stretcher.
52. Remove fixing bolts and tie up the steering mechanism as it is possible above from a stretcher.
53. Turn away bolts and remove теплоизоляционные boards from below the gear change lever, then unhook a returnable spring from a gear change rod.
54. Turn a rod back and fix it in this position.
55. Remove the gauge of turns/positions коленвала, disconnect electroconducting and release it from a stretcher.
56. Remove a sound signal.
57. Prepare the cart with wooden брусками to support a stretcher, and check up, that engine/transmission assemblage has been reliably supported. Mechanics Renault use the special cart (Mot. 1040-01) and supporting tools Mot. 1159 and Mot. 1159-02.
58. Turn away bolts of fastening of a stretcher to the bottom, noticing a site распорных linings and washers. Do not forget to remove bolts of fastening of a tube of a steering with the amplifier to a stretcher.
59. Lift a car body, then release a manual brake and move the car back. Then lower the car on the earth and cock a manual brake.
60. Be once again convinced that all components which can interfere with removal of assemblage of the engine/transmission, have been removed or separated. Remove assemblage from a stretcher. |
