Removal of assemblage of pistons/rods

REMOVAL

1. Having removed a head of the block of cylinders, the pallet and the oil pump, operate further as follows. On engine E7J, be convinced that on sleeves clips are established. 2. Turn коленвал so that the rod №1 has settled down in НМТ. If on a rod with a cover there is no number, note their punches (address to an accompanying illustration) according to number of cylinders, in which in which they are established. 3. Before removal of covers, check up size of a lateral backlash between covers and counterbalances коленвала (address to an accompanying illustration). 4. Turn away a nut (engines E7J and К7М) or bolts (all other engines) cover fastenings шатунного the bearing. Uncover together with the loose leaf (address to an accompanying illustration). 5. If it is necessary to examine only loose leaves, push off a rod from a neck коленвала and remove the top loose leaf (address to an accompanying illustration). Store loose leaves and a cover together.

ENGINE E7J

REMOVAL

1. Remove clips of sleeves of cylinders and take sleeves together with pistons and rods at the top the block of cylinders. Note sleeves sticky tapes that they have been established on a former place. 2. Take the piston from the sleeve basis. 3. Repeat procedure with remained assemblages of pistons/rods.

ALL OTHER ENGINES

REMOVAL

1. Push out the piston with a rod from the cylinder. Pay attention that if there is a deterioration crest in the top part of the cylinder there is a risk of damage of the piston. 2. Repeat procedure with remained assemblages of pistons/rods.
