Repair of the diesel engine in an impellent compartment

In this Part of the Head repair procedures in an impellent compartment on diesel engines are considered.
Performance of the majority of the works described in the given Part, is based on a condition that the engine is established in the car. Therefore, if this information is used at a full partition of the engine when it is already removed, many of these works will not be carried out.

The engine

The engine - 4-cylinder, рядный, with the top arrangement of a cam-shaft, is established cross-section in a forward part of the car.
Коленвал it is supported in the block of cylinders on five radical bearings. In the radical bearing №2 the persistent washers regulating an axial backlash коленвала are established.
Rods are fixed on коленвале by means шатунных bearings with loose leaves, and on pistons - piston fingers which are motionlessly planted in rods. Pistons are made of an aluminium alloy - and two are equipped by three rings, компрессионных and one маслосъемное.
The cam-shaft rotates in five bearings drilled directly in a head of the block of cylinders, and is resulted from коленвала by a gear belt.
The cam-shaft operates work of valves through pushers. Adjustment of a backlash of valves is carried out by washers which are established on pushers. Inlet and final valves are closed by one spring.
On engines of early models the intermediate shaft established near to коленвалом, also is resulted by a gear belt and puts in action the oil pump. On engines of late models (address to Specifications) the oil pump is resulted by a chain from коленвала: on these engines of an intermediate shaft is not present, the cogwheel is left only.
The fuel pump of a high pressure is resulted from gear drive a belt and described in the Head of the Power supply system and release.
In engines are used half-closed system of ventilation картера; картерные gases are taken away from an oil separator on the block of cylinders and pass through the second oil separator) to an inlet air line (address to the Head of the Power supply system and release).
Greasing moves in the engine under the pressure created by the oil pump, established more low коленвала. Impellent oil moves through the oil filter established outside to the main lubricant channel serving коленвал, an intermediate shaft (where is available) and a cam-shaft. In the block of cylinders oil nozzles which spray oil from an underside of pistons are established. Some models are equipped by the cooler of impellent oil established on the block of cylinders.
The repair procedures which are carried out without removal of the engine from the car:
a) Removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders.
b) Removal and installation gear drive a belt and cogwheels.
Replacement of epiploons of a cam-shaft.
d) Removal and cam-shaft installation.
e) Removal and pallet installation.
f) Removal and installation of rods and поршней.*
g) Removal and installation of the oil pump.
h) Replacement of epiploons коленвала.
f) Replacement of support of the engine.

Though the procedures noted by an asterisk can be executed with the engine in the car (after pallet removal), it will be more convenient for making on the removed engine.
