Removal and pallet installation картера (only for petrol engines of series К7М with the aluminium pallet)

REMOVAL

1. Remove the engine (see Has undressed Removal and installation of the petrol engine and a manual transmission), then merge from it engine oil. 2. Отболтите also uncover a flywheel / an intensifying arm of fastening of the engine to transmission. 3. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the pallet to the block of the cylinders, two, located on a diagonal leave screwed on pair turns until the pallet will not be separated from the block. 4. With the help шпателя, or other suitable tool accurately separate the pallet from the basis of the block of cylinders (application for the given purpose of a screw-driver can lead to damage of interfaced surfaces). 5. Turn out two left fixing bolts and remove the pallet картера from the engine. 6. Take rubber sealing strips from flutes in covers of forward and back radical bearings, or remove them from the bent parts from both parties of the pallet. Carefully remove all traces of old hermetic from interfaced surfaces of the pallet and the block. Wipe surfaces pure rags.

INSTALLATION

7. Impose a hermetic pillow (3 millimetres in width) on interfaced to the block of cylinders a pallet surface. Track, that hermetic was laid from the interior of fixing apertures. Composers of the present Management recommend to use for the given purpose hermetic of type Rhodorseal 5661. 8. Lay in the flutes in covers of forward and back radical bearings new sealing strips (pay attention that they differ from each other). In case of need put pair of dabs of hermetic for time fixing of strips on the engine. 9. Press the pallet to the block and screw fixing bolts. In stages, moving to a diagonal order, tighten fixture with demanded effort.
