Removal, survey and installation of a head of the block of cylinders

The head of the block of cylinders acts in film together with inlet and final collectors.

Prepare new gear приводной a belt, linings under a head of the block of cylinders and клапанную a cover and (probably) set of new bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (address to the Head an engine Electric equipment). If the autoradio tape recorder in your car is coded before to disconnect the battery, be convinced that you know a code. 2. Merge a liquid from cooling system, and from the block of cylinders on engine E7J as Maintenance service (on engine E7J important is described in the Head to merge a liquid from the block because if damp sleeves of the cylinder will be disturbed, the cooling liquid will flow down in the pallet). 3. Merge impellent oil as Maintenance service is described in the Head. 4. Remove gear приводной a belt, address to Section Removal, survey and installation gear drive a belt from this Chapter. 5a. Remove assemblage of the air filter as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system, release. On engine K7M, remove amplifying core between domes of a forward suspension bracket. 5b. Disconnect an air line from the throttle case (address to illustrations). 6. Disconnect a rope of a pedal of gas from the throttle case (address to the Head of the Power supply system, release). 7. On engine E7J, turn on the holder of a rope of a pedal of gas from клапанной covers. 8. On engine K7M, remove ВВ coils of ignition with клапанной covers as the engine Electric equipment is described in the Head; disconnect from spark plugs of a wire of a high voltage and turn away a clamp of wires from клапанной covers. 9. Disconnect ventilation hoses картера from клапанной covers. 10. Turn away bolts and remove клапанную a cover and a lining. 11. Turn away a cable of weight on the right side of a partition (address to an accompanying illustration). 12. Loosen the скобы also disconnect submitting and returnable fuel hoses from the case of a throttle (engine E7J) or a fuel highway (engine K7M). 13. Disconnect a hose of the electromagnetic valve of system recycling fuel steams. 14. Disconnect conducting and hoses from the gauge of absolute pressure on a partition. Also turn away a plait of wires from the inlet pipeline, and disconnect all electroconducting from a head of the block of cylinders (address to an accompanying illustration). 15. Loosen the a bracket also disconnect a hose of the vacuum amplifier of a brake from the inlet pipeline. 16. Turn on and remove a bolt of the top fastening of a tube probeа measurements of level of oil. 17. Remove spark plugs as Maintenance service is described in the Head. 18a. Let out скобу and disconnect the top hose of a radiator from a thermostat casing. Also disconnect hoses of a heater and a hose of a broad tank. 18b. Turn on the holder of a hose of a heater on a left-hand side of a head of the block of cylinders (address to illustrations). 19. Turn on and remove a bolt of the top fastening/adjustment of the generator from an arm on a back part of a head of the block of cylinders. 20. Turn away a nut and remove теплоизоляционный a board from a final collector. Remove a reception pipe as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system, release. 21a. Turn on and remove an axis коромысел and a fixing plate. 21b. Then gradually ослабьте bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders. 21c. Remove all bolts except placed in a forward right corner which it is necessary to turn on only on three-four turns. 22. Now it is necessary to break connection between a head of the block of cylinders, a lining and the block of cylinders. On engine E7J, it is important not to lift and not to disturb "damp" sleeves of the cylinder. To avoid it, pull the left end of a head of cylinders forward, turning it round the left bolt, then move a head back to former position. If this procedure not to execute on engine E7J, there is a probability of moving of sleeves of cylinders and infringement of consolidations that will lead to leaks after head installation. 23a. Remove the remained bolt and lift a head from the block of cylinders. 23b. Then remove a lining. Notice adjusting on a forward right corner of the block (address to illustrations). 24. Remove the inlet pipeline and a final collector as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system, release. 25. Pay attention that on engine E7J коленвал should not rotate at the removed head as sleeves can be displaced. If there is a necessity of rotation коленвала (for example at clearing of the bottom of the piston), fix sleeves bolts with washers or assembly clips (address to an accompanying illustration).

SURVEY

1. Combined surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders should be absolutely pure. By means of a scraper remove all traces of a lining and a deposit, and also clear the top parts of pistons. Work especially cautiously with an aluminium head of the block of cylinders as soft metal can be easily damaged. Also watch, that the dirt has not got to oil and water channels it it is especially important for a greasing chain as the deposit can block oil giving to a cam-shaft and bearings коленвала and коромыслам. By means of a sticky tape and a paper isolate water, oil channels and apertures under bolts in the block of cylinders. Similarly clear the bottoms of pistons. 2. Check up the block and a head on presence щербинок, deep scratches and other damages. If there are small scratches, they can be removed accurately a file. More serious damage probably to eliminate a repoint, but it is necessary to charge this work to the expert. 3. By means of a ruler put on an edge, check up a curvature of a head of the block of cylinders. On engine E7J also check up выступание sleeves of cylinders. These parametres are closely connected with a burn-out of a lining of a head of the block of cylinders. 4. Clear all apertures under bolts in the block. See, that in them there was no oil, differently there is a probability of that at a tightening of bolts the block can burst under the influence of hydraulic pressure. 5. Examine a carving of bolts and a carving in the block of cylinders on presence of damages. If it is necessary, a tap of the suitable size update a carving in the block and a screw-cutting die clear a carving on bolts. It is recommended to replace bolts after their each removal.

INSTALLATION

1. Fix the inlet pipeline and a final collector on a head of the block of cylinders, operating according to the description in the Head of the Power supply system, release. 2. Be convinced that the piston №1 is placed in ВМТ, then rub off head and block surfaces. On engine E7J, remove clips of sleeves of cylinders. 3. Be convinced that the adjusting pin is on the place in a forward right corner of the block. 4. Place a new lining on the block, having put on it a pin - the lining can be established only in one position (address to an accompanying illustration). 5a. Lower a head on the block. Grease a carving and places under heads of bolts, establish washers. 5b. Then insert bolts. Pay attention that shorter bolts are established on the party of inlet valves - and rolled while only manually (address to illustrations). 6a. Tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in the shown sequence the effort resulted in Specifications (address to illustrations). 6b. At доворачивании bolts, make a label paint on heads of bolts and a head of the block of cylinders to provide a correct corner, or get the special tool for доворачивания. 6c. If bolts are clamped precisely as is defined, there is no requirement repeatedly to tighten them after the first start of the engine. 7. Establish an axis коромысел and a fixing plate, address to Section Removal, survey and cam-shaft installation. If the head of the block of cylinders got over, at this stage it is recommended to check up backlashes of valves to exclude any probability of a contact valves of pistons after installation gear drive a belt. Turn коленвал so that any piston did not stand in position ВМТ. 8. Establish a reception pipe as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system, release, then establish теплоизоляционный a board on a final collector and tighten nuts. 9. Insert a bolt of the top fastening/adjustment of the generator on a back part of a head of the block of cylinders, then adjust a tension drive a belt as Maintenance service is described in the Head, and tighten a bolt. 10. Connect a hose of a broad tank, hoses of a heater and the top hose of a radiator to a thermostat casing, and be convinced that скобы are established on a former place. 11. Establish and tighten a bolt of the top fastening of a tube probeа measurements of level of oil. 12. Connect a hose of the vacuum amplifier of a brake to the inlet pipeline. 13. Establish spark plugs as Maintenance service is described in the Head. 14. Connect electroconducting and hoses to the gauge of absolute pressure. 15. Connect a hose of the electromagnetic valve of management of circulation of fuel steams. 16. Connect submitting and returnable fuel hoses to the case of a throttle (engine E7J) or to a fuel highway (engine K7M). 17. Fix a weight cable on a partition. 18. Adjust backlashes of valves if yet have not made it (address to Section Check and adjustment of backlashes of valves from this Chapter). 19. Establish клапанную a cover with a new lining and in regular intervals tighten bolts the effort resulted in Specifications. 20. Connect a ventilation hose картера to клапанной to a cover. 21. On engine K7M establish ВВ ignition coils on клапанную a cover and connect high voltage wires to spark plugs. Fix the holder of wires of a high voltage to клапанной to a cover. 22. On engine E7J, establish an arm of a rope of a pedal of gas on клапанную a cover. 23. Connect a rope of a pedal of gas and adjust it as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system, release. 24. Establish assemblage of the air filter as it is described in the Head of the Power supply system, release. On engine K7M, connect an air line to the throttle case. 25. Establish new gear приводной a belt, address to Section Removal, survey and installation gear drive a belt from this Chapter. 26. Fill the engine with fresh oil as Maintenance service is described in the Head. 27. Establish and tighten a drain stopper in the block of cylinders on engine E7J. 28. Fill and pump over cooling system as Maintenance service is described in the Head. 29. Attach a weight cable to the battery.
