1. Loosen the a bolt of fastening of a pulley also remove a bolt with a washer. To prevent pulley rotation, the special tool is required. In the absence of any of the special tools Renault mentioned here, it is possible to make comprehensible replacement as follows: Take two steel plates (long and short) and three pairs nuts and bolts; one nut with a bolt will be a rotary axis of the doubled capture, and other two steams of nuts and bolts are wrapped on "the plug" ends. They should enter into apertures in a pulley. The pulley also can be kept, using old gear приводной a belt and flat-nose pliers (address to an accompanying illustration). |
2. Having turned away a fastening bolt, pull down a pulley and clean segment шпонку - pay attention that on engines of late models шпонка is a pulley part. Examine an epiploon on presence of oil smudges and if it is necessary, replace it as it is described in Section Replacement of epiploons of a cam-shaft. |

COGWHEEL OF THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT

1. On engines with intermediate shaft (address to Specifications), turn away a cogwheel bolt, keeping a pulley by means of an old gear belt and flat-nose pliers, then remove a pulley. Pay attention that on some engines segment шпонка is a pulley part. On engines without an intermediate shaft (address to Specifications), turn away a bolt and remove a pulley. |

COGWHEEL КОЛЕНВАЛА

1. Having turned away a pulley bolt коленвала and having removed a pulley and gear приводной a belt as it is described above, it is possible to remove a cogwheel from a pin коленвала (address to an accompanying illustration). If it is necessary, take segment шпонку from a cut in коленвале. Examine an epiploon on presence of oil smudges and if it is necessary, replace it as it is described in Section Replacement of epiploons коленвала. |

PULLEY OF THE MECHANISM OF THE TENSION

1. Turn away the big nut and a bolt of fastening and remove assemblage of the mechanism of a tension. |

INTERMEDIATE PULLEY
|
|
|
1. Turn away bolts, fastening a board of an intermediate pulley to the block of cylinders and remove pulley assemblage. |
|
|
|
|
1. Examine a teeth of cogwheels on presence щербин and other damages. A teeth wearproof also should not wear out throughout all service life of the engine.
2. Turn the mechanism of a tension and an intermediate pulley manually and check up, that they freely rotated. Do not try to clean their solvent as it can get to bearings. If there is a deterioration, replace the mechanism of a tension and-or an intermediate pulley as required. |

CAM-SHAFT COGWHEEL
|
|
|
1. Insert segment шпонку into a cut in a cam-shaft, establish a pulley, track, that шпонка has entered into a cut.
2. Establish a bolt of fastening of a pulley and tighten its effort resulted in Specifications.
3. Establish new gear приводной a belt as Removal, survey and installation gear drive a belt is described in Section. |

COGWHEEL OF THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT

1. On engines with intermediate shaft (address to Specifications), establish segment шпонку (where is available) on a shaft, put on a cogwheel. Establish a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel and tighten its effort resulted in Specifications.
2. On engines without an intermediate shaft (address to Specifications), establish a roller and reliably tighten a fastening bolt.
3. Establish new gear приводной a belt as Removal, survey and installation gear drive a belt is described in Section. |
