System of a tension of seat belts of forward seats - the general information

The majority of models considered in the present Management are equipped by system of a tension of seat belts of forward seats. The system provides an instant choice of a weak point of belts at sharp axial overloads, essentially raising level of protection of the driver and the forward passenger at a head-on collision. Tension mechanisms are fixed directly on stalks of seat belts of both forward seats of the car.
System the general block of management with safety pillows (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head). Food giving in a drive of mechanisms is made at a head-on collision causing an axial overload, exceeding some certain value. More light blows, and also blows behind do not lead to system operation.
At system inclusion there is an ignition of gas in cylindrical modules of tension mechanisms. Thus the piston sharply moves forward, choosing a weak point of a belt at the expense of retraction of its stalk. The explosive effort in the cylinder is calibrated so that, at a choice of a weak point of a belt the body of the driver/passenger without excessive jerk reliably nestled on a seat back. After unitary operation the tension mechanism becomes unfit for use and is subject to replacement.
In order to avoid risk of reception of a trauma at spontaneous operation of tension mechanisms during work on car service, in particular forward seats, preliminary disconnect a negative wire from the battery and disconnect system of a tension of belts. For switching-off of tension mechanisms take safety lock SRS from the nest in the assembly block of safety locks/relays. It is possible to start performance of works only after not less than five minutes after safety lock extraction, - such time is required for a discharge of reserve capacities in the block of management SRS.
At performance of any works on service of forward seats of the car try to consider following moments:

After operation of system of a tension of seat belts both tension mechanisms together with the management block are subject to replacement!

Casually обороненный the tension mechanism on the car is not subject to installation and should be replaced even in the absence of external signs of damages!

At all do not suppose contact of components of tension mechanisms to any solvents!

The sharp blow put on a forward seat, can lead to operation of the tension mechanism of a seat belt!

Do not suppose excessive heating of tension mechanisms of seat belts!
