Removal and installation of the cylinder of the back brake mechanism

On the models equipped ABS before to turn on connecting муфты brake tubes, disconnect a cable of weight from the battery and do not connect it, yet will not pump over system. If not to make it, air can get to the hydraulic block which it is very difficult (in certain cases it is impossible) to pump over.

REMOVAL

1. Remove a brake drum as Removal, survey and installation of drums of back brake mechanisms is described in Section. 2. Uncover the tank of the main cylinder and again tighten it, having enclosed under it a polyethylene piece to receive hermetic consolidation and to prevent liquid loss. Alternatively, press a hose a special clip or a clamp. 3. Accurately unhook the top coupling spring from both колодок and remove it. Take away the top ends колодок from the brake cylinder. 4. Rub off area round connecting муфты a brake tube behind the working cylinder and turn away a connecting nut (address to an accompanying illustration). Accurately separate a tube of the cylinder and закупорьте its end to prevent dirt penetration. Erase the spilt liquid. 5. On an underside of a basic board turn away two bolts of fastening of the brake cylinder and remove the cylinder together with a sealing ring (where is available), trying not to spill a brake liquid on brake overlays. 6. To touch the cylinder it is impossible, as its components are not on sale separately. If at least one of components is damaged, full assemblage of the cylinder is subject to replacement.

INSTALLATION

1. Be convinced that contact surfaces of a basic board both the brake cylinder pure and dry. On models where on the cylinder the sealing ring is established, use new consolidation. On other models put on a contact surface of the cylinder a hermetic small amount. 2. Dissolve brake Pads and place the brake cylinder into position. Insert a brake tube and screw a connecting nut on two-three turns. 3. Insert two bolts of fastening of the cylinder, tighten them reliably, then tighten a connecting nut of a brake tube the effort resulted in Specifications. 4. Remove a clip from a brake hose or polyethylene from under a cover of the tank of the main cylinder. 5. Be convinced that brake Pads are established on cylinder pistons, then accurately establish a coupling spring. 6. Establish a brake drum as Removal, survey and installation of drums of back brake mechanisms is described in Section. 7. Pump over brake system (address to Section Prorolling of hydrosystem of brakes). If the safety measures, called to minimise liquid loss have been accepted, it is required to pump over only the given back brake.
