Removal and installation of the vacuum pump (diesel engines)

REMOVAL

1. Where it is necessary to facilitate access to the vacuum pump, remove an intaking air line (address to the Head of the Power supply system and release). 2. Let out a collar and disconnect a vacuum hose from the pump. 3. Turn away nuts/bolts, fastening the pump by the left end of a head of the block of cylinders, then remove the pump. Remove a pump lining - it be subject to replacement.

INSTALLATION

1. Clear and dry up contact surfaces of the pump and a head of the block of cylinders and establish on a head a new lining. 2. Deduce the pump into position, having combined a leading ledge with a cam-shaft groove, then establish fixing nuts/bolts of the pump and tighten them. 3. Connect a vacuum hose to the pump, tighten a collar and establish an intaking air line of the air filter.
