Test of system of a charge

1. If at the included ignition the control lamp of a charge does not burn, at first check up reliability of connection of electroconducting of the generator. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, be convinced that the control lamp has not fused and that the lamp cartridge is correctly located on the instrument panel. If the lamp still has not lighted up, check up integrity of conducting from the generator to a lamp cartridge. If the result of check does not show conducting damage, the generator is possibly damaged.
2. If the control lamp of work of the generator lights up at the working engine, switch off the engine and be convinced that приводной the belt is not damaged and is correctly tense and that generator connections are reliably fixed. If everything is all right, check up brushes and generator rings. If and after that the generator does not work, it it is necessary to replace or address to the autoelectrician for check and repair.
3. If malfunction on a generator exit is supposed, even when the control lamp functions correctly, adjustable pressure can be checked up as follows.
4. Connect the voltmeter to plugs of the accumulator and start the engine.
5. Increase engine turns while voltmeter indications are not stabilised. Pressure should be approximately 12 - 13 Volt, but no more 14 Century
6. Include as much as possible the additional electric equipment (for example, headlights, heating of a back window and a supercharger of a heater) and be convinced that the generator supports pressure within 13 - 14 volt.
7. If adjustable pressure leaves for the specified limits, malfunction can be covered in the worn out brushes, weak springs of brushes, a defective regulator of pressure, the defective diode, a disconnected winding or in the worn out or damaged rings of the generator. It is necessary to replace or transfer the generator to the expert for check and repair.
