Arrangement of the top dead point (ВМТ) for the piston №1

The mentioned adjusting pins are intended ONLY FOR position check коленвала at performance of various procedures of a partition of the engine. Do not use them as blocking tools to keep коленвал motionless at easing or a tightening of bolts of a pulley or a disk flywheel/privodnogo.


 CHECK

1. ВМТ - the highest point in the cylinder which reaches the piston at a turn коленвала. Each piston rises in ВМТ in the end of a compression step, and also in the end of a release step. However for adjustment of the moment of ignition it is taken into account ВМТ in the end of a compression step. The cylinder №1 is in the end of the engine turned to transmission.
2. When the piston №1 is established in ВМТ, the adjusting label on a cam-shaft cogwheel should be combined with the index on an external cover gear drive a belt (the label on a pulley can be seen through a cut in a cover, below the index). In addition, the adjusting label on a flywheel should be combined with label ВМТ on картере couplings.
3. To combine adjusting labels, it is necessary to turn коленвал. It can be made a wrench for a pulley bolt коленвала. To improve access to a pulley bolt, поддомкратьте a forward right corner of the car, remove a wheel and remove the loose leaf of an arch of a wheel (it is attached plastic скобами). That коленвал it was easier turned, remove candles накаливания (the Head an engine Electric equipment) or fuel atomizers (the Head of the Power supply system and release).

4. Looking in an aperture in картере couplings, turn коленвал so that the adjusting label on a flywheel was combined with label ВМТ (0 ) on картере couplings (address to an accompanying illustration).

5. On models with engine F8Q turn away three bolts of fastening and remove the top plastic cover drive a belt / the right support of the engine from the top arm, marking a site of bolts of fastening. On models with engine F9Q, turn away fixing nuts and remove a sound-proof cover.

6. Be convinced that the adjusting label on a cam-shaft cogwheel is combined with the index on a cover outer side drive a belt (address to an accompanying illustration). Now the piston №1 is established in ВМТ on a compression step.

7. It is possible to check up position коленвала as follows. If it is necessary, remove assemblage of a casing of the air filter (the Head of the Power supply system and release).

8a. Absolutely precisely position коленвала can be checked up, inserting an adjusting pin - tool Renault Mot. 861 (the early version) or Mot/1054 (the latest version).

8b. For this purpose, turn on заглушку from the forward left end of the block of cylinders, near to the tube basis probeа measurements of level of oil.

8b. Insert an adjusting pin so that it has entered into a groove in коленвале. Probably it is necessary to turn slightly коленвал forward or back (address to an accompanying illustration).

Do not try to rotate the engine with the established pin. If the engine is necessary for leaving in this condition for long time, in an impellent compartment it is recommended to leave a note with the prevention.

9. In summary, remove an adjusting pin and establish all remote components.
