Removal, survey and installation of the oil pump

ENGINES WITH INTERMEDIATE SHAFT

REMOVAL

1. Remove the pallet картера as Removal and pallet installation is described in Section. 2. Turn away four bolts of fastening of the pump and separate the pump from the block of cylinders and a leading gear wheel (address to an accompanying illustration). 3. If it is necessary, turn away two bolts of fastening and uncover a leading gear wheel of the oil pump and a sealing ring a back part of the block of cylinders. Get a leading gear wheel from the block. Will throw out a sealing ring.

SURVEY

1. Turn away bolts of fastening and uncover the pump. Get an intermediate gear wheel and a leading gear wheel/shaft. Note an intermediate gear wheel so that she could be established in the same position. 2. Take fixing скобу and remove a basic cup, a spring, a support of a spring and плунжер редукционного the oil valve. 3. Clear components, attentively examine their condition. Replace pump assemblage if there is an excessive deterioration (on sale of spare parts is not present). 4a. If components seem serviceable, measure a backlash between the case of the pump and gear wheels with the help probeов. 4b. Also measure axial люфт gear wheels and check up planeness of a face cover (address to illustrations). 4c. If backlashes exceed the maximum deviations specified in Specifications, the pump should be replaced. 5. If a pump condition satisfactory, collect components in return dismantling of sequence. Fill the pump with oil, then establish a cover and reliably tighten bolts.

INSTALLATION

1. Where it is necessary, establish a leading gear wheel of the pump in the block of cylinders, correctly having linked it to intermediate shaft. Establish a cover of a leading gear wheel, using a new sealing ring, and reliably tighten fastening bolts. 2. Rub off combined surfaces of the oil pump and the block of cylinders. 3. Check up, that the adjusting pin was in the oil pump, then place the pump into position. Link a pump power shaft in grooves of a leading gear wheel. Establish bolts of fastening of the pump and tighten their effort resulted in Specifications. 4. Establish the pallet as Removal and pallet installation is described in Section.

ENGINES WITHOUT THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT

REMOVAL

1. To remove only the oil pump, at first remove the pallet картера, address to Section Removal and pallet installation. 2. Turn away two fixing bolts and get the oil pump, inclining it to uncouple a cogwheel from приводной chains. 3. To remove the oil pump together with приводной a chain and an asterisk, at first remove the pallet (Has undressed Removal and pallet installation), then turn away an epiploon casing коленвала from outside drive a belt as it is described in Section Replacement of epiploons коленвала. Notice directing chains and two adjusting pins. 4. Turn away bolts, fastening an asterisk to a nave of the oil pump. Keep its screw-driver inserted through one of apertures. 5. Remove a leading asterisk with коленвала and a conducted asterisk from the oil pump together with a chain. Pay attention that the leading cogwheel has no шпонки and is fixed on коленвале only by a bolt. Therefore very important correctly to clamp a pulley bolt, differently there is a possibility of that the oil pump will not function. 6. Turn away the oil pump as it is described in paragraph 2 above.

SURVEY

1. Operate as it is described in survey paragraphs to ENGINES With INTERMEDIATE SHAFT.

INSTALLATION

1. Rub off contact surfaces of the oil pump and the block of cylinders. 2. Be convinced that two adjusting pins are located on a place in the block of cylinders, then place on them the oil pump and insert two fixing bolts. Reliably tighten bolts. 3. Put on a chain cogwheels (if it is removed), then establish both asterisks with a chain on коленвал and on a nave of the oil pump. 4. Combine apertures, then insert bolts and tighten them, keeping an asterisk motionless by means of a screw-driver. 5. Establish an epiploon casing as it is described in Section Replacement of epiploons коленвала (do not forget directing chains and two adjusting pins) and the pallet (be guided by Section Removal and pallet installation).
