Removal, partition and installation of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket

REMOVAL

1. Block back wheels, cock a manual brake, поддомкратьте a forward part of the car and establish it on axial props. Remove a forward wheel. 2. Operating, as Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross-section stability is described in Section, disconnect the ends of the stabilizer from the bottom levers of a suspension bracket, then ослабьте fixing clips and turn the stabilizer so that it has departed from levers. 3a. Turn away a bolt, крепящий an extension (where is available) to a longeron of a forward wing, and a nut, крепящую it to the bottom lever. 3b. Remove an extension (address to illustrations). 4. Remove a nut and a clip bolt, крепящего шаровый the hinge of the bottom lever of a suspension bracket to a rotary fist (address to an accompanying illustration). Loosen the шарнирные bolts of the bottom lever, then accurately separate шаровый the hinge from a rotary fist, trying not to damage protective covers of a power shaft. Remove the plastic protective plate established on a core of the spherical hinge. 5. Remove two шарнирных a bolt and their nut and take the bottom lever from under the car.

PARTITION

1. Clear the bottom lever and area round its fastenings and examine it on presence of cracks and other damages, and also on deformation. On some models to the lever fastens скобами a guard rejecting air to a brake disk; it also is necessary for removing. Be convinced that шаровый the hinge of the bottom lever moves freely and exactly and that the protective cover of the hinge has not cracked. Examine шарнирные bolts on presence of attritions and deterioration signs. Replace components as required. 2. Examine plugs шарнирных bolts of the bottom lever. If they are worn out or have cracked, replace plugs. Fix the bottom lever and supersede the plug by means of a nest which should lean only against its firm external edge. Do not remove from the lever both plugs at once, differently new plugs cannot be placed correctly. Carefully clear an aperture in the lever of a dirt and greasing and grind off in it all teases and roughnesses who could prevent installation of a new component. Put on external edge of the new plug a small amount of suitable greasing. Establish the plug into position so that the distance between internal end faces of plugs has made 147 mm (address to an accompanying illustration). Erase surplus of greasing and repeat procedure on the remained plug.

INSTALLATION

1. Deduce the bottom lever into position and insert шарнирные bolts (from a back part of the car). Establish nuts and tighten them manually. 2. Establish a plastic lining on шаровый the hinge of the bottom lever, then insert a hinge core into a rotary fist. Establish a coupling bolt and tighten a fixing nut the effort resulted in Specifications. 3. Where is available, establish an extension on forward шарнирный a lever bolt. Establish a bolt of fastening and a nut and tighten them while only manually. 4. Operating according to the description in section Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross-section stability, connect the ends of the stabilizer of cross-section stability to the bottom levers and slightly tighten fixing bolts. 5. Establish a wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts the effort resulted in Specifications. 6. Shake the car to adjust position of components of the bottom lever and the stabilizer. Tighten шарнирные bolts of the bottom lever the effort resulted in Specifications, then tighten nuts and bolts of clips of the stabilizer. Upon termination of, tighten a fixing nut and a bolt of an extension of the lever (where is available).
