Removal and installation of a back axis

At installation new nuts of fixing bolts of an axis be required.

REMOVAL

1. Block forward wheels and choose a backing (or position “Р”). Поддомкратьте a back part of the car also establish it on axial props. Remove both back wheels. 2. Operating according to the description in the Head Brake system, execute the following: a) Separate both ropes of a manual brake from the lever and let out them from fastenings on the bottom that they could be removed together with an axis. b) Track brake tubes/hoses from working brake cylinders to their connecting муфт about a back axis (address to an accompanying illustration). Disconnect both муфты and закупорьте the ends of hoses/tubes to minimise loss of a liquid and to prevent penetration into dirt system. Remove fixing скобу and let out a hose from a fixing arm. On models with ABS before separation муфты a hose disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (Preventions in the Head Brake system see). Unhook from a back axis draught of the valve of adjustment of pressure. d) On models with ABS track conducting from gauges of a back wheel and disconnect its connectors. Let out electroconducting from all скоб so that it could be removed together with an axis. 3. Prop up an axis a jack. 4. Loosen the also remove the bottom fixing bolts of both shock-absorbers. 5. Turn away a nut, fastening an axis, and remove the coupling lath established on fixing bolts of an axis (address to an accompanying illustration). Will throw out nuts - they are subject to replacement. 6. Be convinced that the ropes/electroconductings connected with an axis are let out from all скоб and couplers, then accurately lower assemblage of an axis and deduce it from under the car. 7. To get access to fixing bolts of an axis, remove a pillow of a back seat and the panel of furnish of a threshold (address to the Head the Body). Turn away a bolt of a fixing plate, then remove a plate and remove fixing bolts.

INSTALLATION

1. Where it is necessary, establish fixing bolts of an axis and a fixing plate into position. Tighten a plate bolt reliably. 2. Deduce axis assemblage into position, having combined its apertures with fixing bolts. Establish a coupling plate on axis bolts, then screw on them new fixing nuts and tighten from resulted in Specifications effort. Where it is necessary, establish the panel of furnish and a seat pillow. 3. Put on the bottom fixing bolts of shock-absorbers a small amount of universal greasing (Renault recommends Molykote BR2). Level shock-absorbers with longitudinal levers of a suspension bracket, establish fixing bolts and tighten them manually. 4. Operating according to the description in the Head Brake system, execute the following: a) Connect tubes/hoses of back brakes and tighten connecting nuts the effort resulted in Specifications. Attach hoses скобами. b) On models with ABS connect sockets of electroconducting of gauges of speed of rotation of a wheel and fix conducting скобами. Connect ropes of a manual brake and adjust their length. d) Attach draught of the valve of adjustment of pressure into position. 5. Establish wheels, then lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts the effort resulted in Specifications. 6. Shake the car to adjust position of components of a back axis, then tighten the bottom fixing bolts of shock-absorbers the effort resulted in Specifications. 7. Completely pump over brake hydrosystem (address to the Head Brake system).
