Removal and transmission installation

On models with engines F3R, F7R and F9Q theoretically probably to remove transmission separately from the engine. However it is very difficult and labour-consuming procedure. It is recommended to remove the power unit in gathering (address to the Head engine Repair), and then to separate transmission from the engine. On models with engines E7J and К7М last method is unique.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Remove engine/transmission assemblage as it is described in the Head engine Repair.
2. Place the power unit on a workbench and separate transmission as follows:

2a. a) disconnect pulling together arm of the engine and flywheel transmission/casing (where is available).

2b. b) turn away bolts and nuts, fastening transmission to the engine, having marked a site of all arms.
By means of the assistant separate transmission from the engine, watching that the block has not hung on entrance to a shaft.

2c. The top bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine.

2d. A back nut of fastening of transmission to the engine.
