If at any of the checks, described in the Head Maintenance service, deterioration of the SHRUS of a power shaft is found out, remove a cap of a wheel and be convinced that the fixing nut of a power shaft is tightened by the corresponding moment of an inhaling. Establish a cap of a wheel and repeat check on other приводном to a shaft.
Slowly conduct the car on a circle, having turned out a wheel on the maximum angle of rotation. If in a forward part of the car will be heard пощелкивание, the external SHRUS is worn out.
If at acceleration vibration, probably is felt, internal SHRUS are worn out.
Remove SHRUS and examine them on presence of signs of deterioration as it is described in Sections Replacement of a protective cover of an external SHRUS of a power shaft (model with Manual transmission), Replacement of a protective cover of an internal SHRUS of the right power shaft (model with Manual transmission) and Replacement of a protective cover of an internal SHRUS of the left power shaft (model with Manual transmission).
On models with Manual transmission deterioration of an external SHRUS can be eliminated only power shaft replacement. For an internal SHRUS assemblage трипода is on sale separately, but deterioration of any other component also demands power shaft replacement.
On models with automatic transmission it is necessary to replace a power shaft at deterioration of any SHRUS. |
