Check and replacement of components of system recycling the petrol engine

SYSTEM OF VENTILATION OF CARTER

 CHECK

1. There are no certain procedures of check of system of ventilation картера. If there are problems (are sometimes defined on pollution of a filtering element of the air filter), check up, that hoses were pure and are not blocked.


 REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS

1. It is obvious. Note an arrangement of hoses before separation not to mix at installation.

Management of emission of the fulfilled gases

 CHECK

1. The analyzer of the fulfilled gases (a measuring instrument WITH) will be necessary. The ignition system should be in the good condition, the filtering element of the air filter should be pure, and the engine should be in good repair.
2. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature, then attach the analyzer of the fulfilled gases according to the instruction of the manufacturer.
3. Disperse the engine to 2500 rpm approximately for 30 seconds, and then allow to it to idle and check up level WITH (address to Specifications in the Head Maintenance service). If level WITH corresponds to the data resulted in Specifications, the system works correctly.
4. If level WITH above specified in Specifications, try to check up Ljambda-gauge influence, separating its electroconducting. If level WITH raises at a gauge detachment, the Ljambda-gauge means is serviceable also malfunction - in каталитическом the converter. If gauge separation does not influence level WITH, means the gauge is faulty.
5. If there is a digital voltmeter, it is possible to measure target pressure of the Ljambda-gauge. Pressure should alternate between two limits: 625 - 1100 мВ (a rich mix) and 0 - 80 мВ (a poor mix).
6. Replace the Ljambda-gauge if it is faulty.

The ljambda-gauge

 REPLACEMENT

1. Поддомкратьте a forward part of the car also establish it on axial props. Remove the bottom guard of the engine where is available, then disconnect gauge conducting.

2a. Turn away the gauge from a reception pipe.

3. Clear a carving in a reception pipe and on the gauge.

The Katalitichesky converter

 REPLACEMENT

1. The Katalitichesky converter is replaced as a part of final system. Address to section Removal and installation of final system from this Chapter.

Management of allocation of steams of fuel

 CHECK

1. The electromagnetic valve should be opened only under following conditions: the engine is heated-up, throttle заслонка is not closed.
2. Warm up the engine to normal temperature, then switch off it. Attach the vacuum gauge (a range of measurement 0 - 1000 мБар) to a hose between an adsorber and the electromagnetic valve. Attach the voltmeter to plugs of the electromagnetic valve.
3. Start the engine and allow to it to idle. The manometre should not show any depression, and on a winding of the electromagnetic valve there should be no pressure.
4. If the manometre has registered depression though the voltmeter does not show any pressure, probably electromagnetic valve has jammed abroach. Temporarily disconnect hoses from the valve and blow it to remove deposit particles.
5. If in a mode of idling the voltmeter shows pressure, means there is a malfunction in electroconducting or the computer.
6. Slightly press an accelerator. For an instant there should be a pressure on plugs of the valve and is registered разряжение.
7. If разряжения is not present even in the presence of pressure, means or there is a leak in hoses or the valve does not open.
8. If pressure does not appear, malfunction in electroconducting or the computer means.

Replacement of a coal adsorber

 REPLACEMENT

1. Temporarily remove the electronic module of management of system of injection of fuel from the right forward part of the engine, without separating electroconducting.

2. Disconnect and закупорьте a hose departing from the top part an adsorber (address to an accompanying illustration).

 REPLACEMENT

1. Depending on the engine, the electromagnetic valve can settle down in following places:
a) Engine E7J - on the top part of the inlet pipeline, to the right of the throttle case (address to an accompanying illustration).
b) Engine K7M - on the right end of the inlet pipeline
Engines F3R and F7R - on the forward right party of the engine, on one arm with the block of management of fuel system

2a. Disconnect hoses.

2b. Disconnect a multicontact socket from the valve. Release the valve from fastenings, and remove it.

3. Establish the new valve, operating in the return to removal an order. Be convinced that hoses are correctly connected.

РЕЦИРКУЛЯЦИЯ THE FULFILLED GASES

 CHECK

1. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature (the cooling fan should join), then switch off it.
2. Disconnect conducting from the electromagnetic valve recycling the fulfilled gases, established on the left end of a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Submit on the valve pressure of a food 12В.
4. Disconnect a hose of the vacuum tank from the valve, then attach the vacuum pump and create depression in 300 мБар. Be convinced that the vacuum does not fall faster than 2 мБар in a second.
5. Disconnect the vacuum pump, then start the engine, and allow it to work on single turns. Connect the vacuum pump and create разряжение in 300 мБар; the engine should idle unstably. If not so, the valve it is necessary to replace it, however pay attention that Renault recommends to clear the valve through everyone 80 000 - 95 000 km of run (address to the Head Maintenance service).

 REPLACEMENT

1. Turn on and remove a core between domes of a forward suspension bracket.
2. Remove an inlet air line between the air filter and the throttle case, being guided by a part And this Chapter.

7. Establish the new valve, operating in the return to removal an order, but use a new epiploon and tighten fixing bolts the effort resulted in Specifications.

The valve recycling the fulfilled gases (engine F7R)

 REPLACEMENT

1. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the valve, then disconnect conducting.
